Integrating Faculty Development and Study Abroad
CEA Global Education is proud to build on its successful international expertise and resources to offer faculty as well as students the opportunity for Global Education. We believe these expanded offerings are a natural fit with CEA Global Education’s mission to create and facilitate opportunities for personal growth and global understanding through quality international education and cultural experiences.
Global Issues Seminars
Our academic team has created professional development seminars to provide undergraduate teaching faculty the opportunity to discuss and build curriculum content about leading global issues that will impact teaching in the 21st Century. These Global Issues Seminars (GIS) afford faculty the opportunity to network with international colleagues to develop and/or revise course offerings. Our first seminar, “Sustainable Development & the Global City,” is scheduled for June 2010 at our Global Campus in Madrid, Spain
Centers of Excellence
CEA Global Education is excited to introduce our new Centers of Excellence, created to be a destination authority in specific disciplines and the optimum location for your graduate students and colleagues to research and study. Visiting faculty, students and independent scholars will have access to the center’s facilities, including the library, and resources and enjoy the center’s access to established international relationships. Centers of Excellence will host a variety of advanced activities, including encounters, exchanges and debates with staff and students from nearby colleges and lecture series presented by leading figures and visiting faculty.
We hope you will take advantage of these Centers of Excellence to achieve some of your publication and research goals as part of your own Faculty Development Plan.
Our first Center of Excellence is focused on “Religious Studies” and located at our Global Campus in Rome, Italy. Learn more about our present Center of Excellence and other centers expected to open their doors soon.

Office Away from Home
Visiting faculty and staff also have the privilege of access to Global Campus facilities for use as an office away from home. This includes office space and the use of copy machines, computers and Internet access.
